Included are photographs from Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Dahab and the Nubian Village. On this trip, I discovered more of Egypt's diverse culture, which varies significantly depending on the geographic location.

One of the most unique neighborhoods in Cairo is Coptic Cairo, which is located in the southern part of the city. Coptic Cairo is home to several historic Coptic Christian churches, including the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George. These churches date back to the 4th century and are some of the oldest Christian structures in the world.

The Egyptian Museum 

the Nubian Village, located in southern Egypt near Aswan, is home to the Nubian people, who have a distinct culture and language. The Nubians are known for their music, dance, and colorful clothing, and their culture is influenced by both their Pharaonic heritage and their more recent Islamic traditions.

Approaching and leaving 

Aswan, another southern Egyptian city, has a unique culture shaped by its location along the Nile River. The city is known for its vibrant bazaars, bustling waterfront, and the nearby Abu Simbel temples, which are a testament to the region's ancient Nubian culture. 

Dahab, a coastal town on the eastern side of the Sinai Peninsula, is known for its laid-back atmosphere, water sports, and bohemian culture.

Saint Catherine's Monastery is a breathtakingly beautiful and unique located in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. The ancient monastery, which is also known as the Monastery of the Transfiguration, was built over 1,500 years ago at the foot of Mount Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments. 

Luxor is home to many important archaeological sites, including the Valley of the Kings and the Karnak Temple Complex, which serve as a reminder of the region's rich Pharaonic heritage.
